The new popular “cute” Warabi mochi (Bracken-starch dumpling) from Kyoto has landed in Singapore!

 

Kushi-Warabi is authentic, genuine bracken-starch dumpling that can be stored at room temperature. You can enjoy it as it is, but if you chill it in the refrigerator, you can enjoy the chewy, chilly, and cool Kyoto-style warabimochi “kushi-warabi”.
(Kushi means skewer)

This “Omiyage set” contains 7 flavours, 8 sewers.

Sozen’s Kushi-Warabi was developed over a period of five years in Nishijin, Kyoto.

Until now, it has been difficult to eat delicious Japanese warabimochi in Singapore because it does not last long due to their high water content. However, Sozen has continued to research raw material blends and recipes, and has finally succeeded in developing a Warabimochi that lasts for a long time.
